Charles Habis is an International Development Professional since 1979 with technical and program expertise in public health, family planning, HIV/AIDS, immunization, child health, education and humanitarian assistance.  He has over twenty three year experience working in and with USAID providing guidance and support to developing countries through NGOs, USPVOs, and technical assistance experts. He is an expert in public health, and served in USAID/Afghanistan as Senior Health Officer.  Mr. Habis has extensive experience in: providing assistance planning and developing grants, contracts, cooperative agreements and proposals; project performance, monitoring and evaluation; project auditing and closure; personnel recruiting, oversight management; budget planning, financial tracking and reporting; procurement and logistic actions.
